Welcome to Larry Lucas State Farm Agent, located in Columbia, South Carolina.

Licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, my team assists our Good Neighbors with a wide range of services, including auto, home, boat, renters, life, health, business and commercial insurance, workers' compensation, personal and commercial liability umbrella insurance, pet insurance, financial services, notary services, and retirement services. We proudly serve South Carolinians, from an office convenient to areas such as Columbia, Lexington, Irmo, West Columbia, Forest Acres, Cayce, and Fort Jackson.

I have been with State Farm since 1992 and have spent nearly my entire life in South Carolina. I moved here when my father, a retired US Army Master Sergeant, became a recruiter in Florence, SC. In 2000, after holding various positions with State Farm across the Southeast, I was appointed as a State Farm Agent in Columbia, SC. Our team boasts over 75 years of combined insurance experience. I'm also a proud graduate and lifetime member of the University of South Carolina-Columbia Alumni Association, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Applied Professional Sciences.

Additionally, I have supported and worked with local organizations like the South Carolina Brain Injury Association, the Southeastern Chapter of the National Safety Council, the South Carolina LP Gas Board, and the South Carolina Supreme Court Commission on Conduct.

Designations and degrees include: ChFC, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered .Advisor for Senior Living (CASL), Associate in Claims (AIC), University of South Carolina Bachelor of Science-Applied Professional Sciences, South Carolina Notary Public, Ambassador Travel qualifier Level 1, 2, 3, and Crystal Honor Level
