Welcome to the Larry Lucas State Farm Insurance Agency in Columbia, SC. I’m Larry Lucas — a University of South Carolina alumnus who began my State Farm career in 1992 and became an agent in 2000. My team and I bring more than 75 years of combined insurance experience to help customers with auto, home, and life insurance. We serve families across Columbia, Lexington, Irmo, West Columbia and beyond into North Carolina and Georgia, and we have Spanish-speaking team members ready to assist a diverse community. Growing up in South Carolina and working from a young age, instilled in me a long-standing commitment to service. Over the years I’ve earned professional designations including ChFC, CLU, CASL, and AIC, and I’ve participated with local organizations like the Brain Injury Association, the Brain Injury Association, the Southeastern Chapter of the National Safety Council, and the Supreme Court Commission on Conduct. I’m also proud to have achieved State Farm Ambassador Qualifier recognition levels 1, 2, and 3, Champion's Circle, President's Club, and Crystal Honor. We make insurance easy and accessible with in-person meetings at our Columbia office, virtual consultations through Good Neighbor Connect, and responsive support by phone or text.
